The VeloNomad Accommodation Listings provides Cycling Accommodation Advertising for accommodation providers (hotels, B&Bs, gites, hostels etc) in cycling areas anywhere in the world.

VeloNomad has a very strong following, with a significant mailing list and website visitor numbers, with many followers looking to book accommodation themselves.

VeloNomads are often looking for accommodation around the time of major events (Tour de France, Etape du Tour, Giro d'Italia, Tour Down Under), where major accommodation books out.

Often, VeloNomads are on the lookout for small places (maybe like yours!) that are not listed with major wholesalers and therefore their local travel agent.

The listings offer you a way to cut out the middleman (wholesale providers) and go straight to your potential customers.

Listing types and costs

We have two listing types; Standard and Premium.

Standard listings are perfect for you if you just want your name added to the list for exposure purposes.

Premium listings are perfect for those who want to give potential clients a bit more information such as the facilities offered at your accommodation. They're also great for those who don't have a web site for their accommodation at all, as VeloNomad provides Premium Listings their own stand-alone page as an optional paid extra.

All listings appear are sent to a separate mailing list created just for those interested in cycling accommodation around the world.

Standard Listings – AUD$5/month

Standard listings appear on our listings page with 2 thumbnail photos, your email contact, your address and phone.

Premium Listings – AUD$10/month

Premium listings appear on our listings page with 3 photos (3 featured images), your email contact, your address and phone.

Additionally Premium Listings:

• Are highlighted on the listings page much like on ebay®
• Google Map is included
• Management comment – a bit about your place
• Full list of features like pool, spa, bike servicing, Wifi and more

Showing your full service list saves users time by letting them see what you can offer without having to then ring or email you. This means one less step for you to get a booking and also less time spent answering emails with questions.

As an optional paid extra for Premium Listings, VeloNomad can provide you your own standalone information page on our website, including:

• All the information from the listings page
• Up to 10 photos – 2 feature photos, 8 thumbnails – all linked to higher res images
• Users can leave comments on the page

How to Sign Up

After choosing one of the options below, and paying via Paypal, you will be redirected to a submission page to provide all the relevant information. Once we have received the information, we will add your accommodation on our Listings Page.

Listings are created within 48 hours of payment.

Single Mailing List Mail Out

A single (one time) promo mail to the mailing list (currently 850 people). After paying, you'll be redirected to a form to provide us the information you'd like to be sent out.

Provide your business name, address, phone, contact email, a photo and some basic info about your business and it will be sent out.

You can choose to geotarget specific countries if you wish.

The cost is $100.

Multiple Mailing List Mail Out

This is the same as the single mail out, but is run for 3 months, once per month. This is useful if you would like to fill your accommodation for something like the Tour de France.

The cost for 3 mail-outs is $250.

Ebooks

Cycling Through France Guide

This option will list you in the Cycling Through France Guide, which is updated yearly. The list of accommodation is at the end of the ebook.

The cost is $50 per year.

Other ebooks and specific articles

VeloNomad has numerous other ebooks, so I can tailor a solution for whatever you need.

For those providers with accommodation near Etape du Tour routes each year, the best solution would to be published in the annual VeloNomad Etape Survival Guide. Bookings open in August and close in October in time for a November release.

There are also articles about specific areas, such as Alpe D'Huez, Mont Ventoux, which are able to have a permanent accommodation section with your accommodation listed at the end of the article.
